Bio
Kene is a digital product designer and community organizer who has an interest in using empathy as a tool for creating functional and beautiful products. He is a Google Developer Expert on Product Design and currently works as a UX Designer at Booking.com. Prior to that, he led design at Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) - one of the largest innovation centres in Africa. In 2013 he started Usable.ng; - a design community with the goal of elevating conversations & practice of human-centered design within the African technology ecosystem.

The job of designing a product is often attributed solely to the person with the “designer” job title. This is a bit like assuming the director of a movie takes care of the script, lighting, and soundtrack all by themselves. This talk will explore how designers can open up themselves to professionals from adjacent disciplines like copywriting, development, and product management to build superior products.
